Lesson 4: Using Shift for Capital Letters
The Shift key is used to type capital letters and special symbols on your keyboard. To type a capital letter, hold down the Shift key with one hand while pressing the letter key with the other.
Hold down Shift + Letter to type a capital letter
- Use the left Shift key when typing letters on the right side of the keyboard.
- Use the right Shift key when typing letters on the left side of the keyboard.
💡 Pro Tip: Keep your fingers on the home row while reaching for the Shift key. This helps maintain speed and rhythm.
